1. Jwalamukhi Devi Temple, Kangra District :

Jwalamukhi Devi Temple, located in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, is dedicated to Jwalamukhi Devi (Goddess of Flame). The goddess worships the form of flames rising from the crevices of the rock. Water and milk are usually offered to the sacred flames of the pit, and the deity is often offered blag and rabri. Daily Havanam and Harati are performed and parts of Durga Saptasati are recited. It is one of the 52 Shakti Peethas and is important.



2. Hidimba Devi Temple in Manali :

The beautiful hill station of Manali is home to Hadimba or Hidimba Devi temples. It is dedicated to the goddess Hidimba from the Indian epic Mahabharata. It was built in 1553. It is surrounded by a deodar forest at the foothills of the Himalayas. Inside the temple, the feet of the Goddess are imprinted on a rock. It is still worshiped.



3. Chinnamastika Devi Temple :

Chinnamastika Devi Temple is located in Chintapurni and is a popular shrine. It is also one of the Shakti Peethas. It is surrounded by the Shivalik ranges to the east and north, as well as the western Himalayas. It is dedicated to the god Chinnamasta or Chinnamastika. This temple is one of the total 51 Shakti Peethas. According to legend, Sati's forehead is buried here. Thus Chinnamasta is the acute head or frontal head. There are famous festivals here during Navratri or Chaitra.



4. Chamba District's Mahakali Banni Mata Temple:


Goddess Kali is the subject of the Mahakali Banni Mata Temple, which is situated in the Chamba district. Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, it has a dense forest surrounding it and is 8,500 feet above sea level. Particularly for the residents of the Bharmur region, this temple is extremely significant. It is believed that Goddess Kali bestows offspring and grants wishes to couples. Kali Puja, also known as Kali Puja, is frequently observed here.



5. Sarahan's Sri Bhima Kali Temple:


Mother Bhima Kali is the temple's main deity, and the Sri Bhima Kali Temple is located in Sarahan. Among the 51 Shakti Peethas is this shrine. It is also thought that Goddess Sati's ear dropped to this shrine. The symbol of the Eternal Goddess, the symbol of Sati, can be seen at the top of the building. Goddess Parvati, the goddess of Lord Shiva, is also there.



6. Himani Chamunda Temple in Kangra Valley :

Himani Chamunda Temple, located in the Kangra Valley of the Himalayas, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Devi Chamnunda. It was built around 1660. Devi Chamunda, also known as Chamundi, is a Hindu divine mother. She is also one of the seven mother goddesses. Animal sacrifice and consumption of alcohol are ways of worshiping the deity. To reach this temple one has to travel 7.4 km from Jiya village.



7. Trilokinath Temple at Tunde :

Sri Trilokinath Temple is located at Tunde, 6 km from the left bank of River Chenab. Both Tibetan Buddhists, as well as Hindus, consider the temple sacred. Trilokinath, which is the name of Lord Shiva, is the epitome of the temple. It means "Lord of the Three Worlds". Locals believe that it was once a Buddhist monastery or hermitage. It has a large granite temple lingam, a Nandi (a bull representing Shiva) and Buddhist prayer wheels. Both Hindus and Buddhists celebrate the three-day Parauri festival in August.



8. Jakhu Temple in Shimla :

Jakhu Temple, the oldest temple in Shimla, is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple houses the world's largest idol, the 108 feet tall Hanuman idol. A big festival is held in this temple during Dussehra season.



9. Masrur Rock Cut Temple in Masrur :

Masrur Rock Cut Temple can be found in Masrur, Kangra Valley District. It is one of the Vaishnava temples. The complex consists of monolithic, stone temples built in the 6th to 8th centuries. It has 15 tower temples and idols of Sita, Lakshmana and Rama. You can also see figures of gods and goddesses like Shiva, Parvati and Lakshmi.
