Chakrasila Wildlife Sanctuary:


This wildlife sanctuary covers an area of 46 km2 and is located in Kokrajhar, and Dhubri regions of Assam. It is home to a variety of unique fauna and flora. The sanctuary is the second most protected habitat for the endangered Golden Langur.


Hoolongapar Gibbon Sanctuary:

Surrounded by tea plantations and tall grasslands, this wildlife sanctuary in Assam is known for its rich biodiversity. The sanctuary is home to only Indian gibbons.

Kaziranga National Park:

The sanctuary is also famous for wild horses and rare endangered birds. The sanctuary is set in a beautiful setting that allows for spectacular views of the winter migration. It is a popular tourist attraction.


Manas National Park:

It is situated between the forest-covered foothills of the Himalayas and the river Manas. This tiger reserve project conserves the endangered Royal Bengal Tiger.


Bornadi Wildlife Sanctuary:

The reserve is surrounded by the beautiful Sylvan Lake which stretches for about 228 km. It is also rich in exotic fauna and flora. The reserve protects many species of migratory and resident birds.


Depor Biel Bird Sanctuary:

The perfect combination of tranquility and the sweet tweets of migratory birds make it a peaceful place to escape into the jungle. It is located in Guwahati and is home to a variety of colorful winged angels. The sanctuary is home to 120 species, some of which can be seen here.

Bordoibam Bilmukh Bird Sanctuary:
