5. Lourdes Lady Church in Willianur:
A famous shrine to the Blessed Virgin Mary is in Pondicherry, home to the first chapel outside France called Our Lady of Lourdes. Napoleon III Eglise de Notre Dame des Anges / Our Lady of Angels Church White Town - This church was built in 1855. It is the fourth-oldest church in Pondicherry and is built in the Greco-Roman style of architecture. The church has two columns on either side of its main chapel. Earlier two clocks were installed on the pillars. They beat every hour, playing the Ave Maria. They are now considered defunct.
