9. Bhojtal:Formerly named the upper lake, Bhojtal is located west of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The city is called Bhojtal after the famous king Raja Bhoj of Bhopal.

10. Sambhar Salt Lake:
Sambhar Lake is the largest brackish water lake in India. It is a large wetland which is brackish with a depth of less than 60 cm in summer and about 3 m in the end of monsoon. This elliptical shaped lake is 35.5 km long and 3 to 11 km wide.

It is the second largest lake in India with brackish water and the largest is Chilika Lake. It is one of the three important wetlands that contribute rainfall to Tamil Nadu, most of the lake is located in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.

The king announced that the person who dug the lake in one night would be married to the princess (the king's daughter) and Rasiya Balam did the same, but as the queen did not agree at that time, the marriage did not take place. .
