Jharkhand is a state in eastern India. Jharkhand, meaning "forest land", is the name of the state. It is rich in minerals. The state's share of economic activity is aided by tourism in Jharkhand. 1. Ranchi Hills:

2. Baidyanath Dham:

Baidyanath Dham, a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, stands 72 feet above the ground. It has a pyramid shaped tower. A porch has been constructed in the temple. It is north facing. Shiva's 'lingas' are bathed in milk and water.


3. Sun Temple:

The Sun Temple is a stunning beauty that amazes tourists with its design and surroundings, situated in picturesque scenery. It was built by a charitable trust called Sanskrit Vihar near Bandu Stand. It is located on the Tata-Ranchi highway.


4. Dassam Falls:


The waterfall is named as Dassam Falls and Kanchi river falls 144 feet below. It is one of the most popular waterfalls in the Northeast. It attracts not only Indian tourists but also foreigners. Dassam Falls can be found near Tamara Village on the Tata-Ranchi Highway. The roar of water is heard all around. A picnic excursion to the falls is possible.


5. Palamu Forts:

Both forts are located in the forests of Aurangabad, on the Sher Shah Suri route near Daltoganj. These forts were built by the Vanavasi kings from the Chero dynasty and are known as Palamu Forts. Tourists can learn about the achievements of Daud Khan from the architecture.


6. Jharkhand War Memorial:

The Jharkhand War Memorial is built in honor of all the soldiers who died in the wars since independence till date. The cremation structure is designed to look like a human body. Additionally, a museum preserving the state's history, customs, and heritage is housed there.
