PMYUVA 2.0 Yojana For Writers: In commemoration of India's 75 the yearsyearthe of independence and to promote the NEP (National Education Policy), goal to create an educational environment for young Indian minds, PM Modi announced a scheme called Young Upcoming and Versatile Authors. The second part of this scheme, Yuva 2.0, was launched on 2 October 2022. Young people under 30 who believe they can write well and offer their opinions on a range of subjects, such as independence warriors, undiscovered and forgotten locales, and untold heroes of India, are eligible to apply for this project. You have until November 30, 2022, to submit your entries using their terms.


This PMYUVA 2.0 scheme will shortlist 75 candidates and will allow them to be trained by NBT of India in two phases.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a YUVA 2.0 mentorship program to train Indian young writers. The Ministry of Education will select 75 potential writers through this program and then train them under NBT's guidance.

The mentorship program under this scheme will award a monthly consolidated scholarship of Rs.50,000 per writer over the next six months.

What is PM YUVA 2.0's main objective?

This program was started by the Ministry of Education to identify young writers who can represent Indian literature and culture in international fora. Additionally, it seeks to advance book culture, writing, and reading in India.


Qualifications for the PM YUVA 2.0 Initiative

Although the program does not have rigorous qualifying restrictions, applicants must fulfill the following prerequisites:

Indian nationals are unable to submit an application.

What is the selection procedure for PM YUVA 2.0?

After you submit your entries to an All India Contest at Mygov, 75 authors will be chosen. NBT will form a committee.

Candidates will be tested on their writing and the way they express themselves.

A committee will select candidates based on the submissions of manuscripts and entries.

The committee will evaluate the candidate's manuscript to determine if it is worthy of publication or development.

Once these criteria have been met, the winner listed will be released in the first winner list in Febrlist January 2JanuaryNBT023.

A mentor will train the winner and help them prepare the final manuscript for final selection.

The winning entries will be reviewed for publication. The book could be published by October 2nd 2023.


After Selection for PM YUVA 2.0

After being selected, the authors will be trained in 2 phases lasting 3 months. Details are available here.

Training

The shortlisted candidates will first be offered a 2-week online program. They will receive training from two prominent authors from the successful panel during this time.

Candidates will receive training for two more weeks after completing the 2-week-long online program.

Training

The young authors will have the opportunity to participate in events lnternatievents, such as literary festivals or virtual book fairs. They can sharpen their skills and expand their knowledge.


After Training Period

NBT will publish a series of books by the authors after the training is over.These books will be translated into Indian languages to exchange culture and literature. Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat will promote Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.


Scholarships are disbursed

Authors will be awarded a consolidated scholarship amount of Rs 50k per month, which is 3 Lakh Rs per author after the completion of phase II.


Royalty under PM YUVA 2.0

If your mentorship ends, the author of the book will be paid a 10% royalty if the book is published successful published.


How do I apply for the PM YUVA 2.0 Yojana to writers?

You can submit entries by the 30th of November 2022 if you want to take part in this contest. Below is the detailed procedure for the YUVA2.0 scheme:


First, visit the official My Gov website.

Once you have reached that point, click the links on the homepage to the YUVA mentoring program for young authors.

You will be taken to a new page that contains more information about PM YUVA 2.0, which we have already discussed.

You will need to click the " Submit" button.

You will see a login page. If you have registered on the My GOV page, you can log in using the same registration ID. Otherwise, you must first register in the portal.

Click the Create New Account tab

Sending a simple text message to register (whose details can be found in the image below), will also work.

Your details will then be verified. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number and your email ID. You will need to enter the code in the box.

After successful verification, a password is sent to your mobile number. This password can be used for login.
