The past

Golconda Fort is just a short drive from Hyderabad's city central area. It's approximately 11 km (7 miles) from Hyderabad's central district. Two close metro stations include Peddamma Temple Metro Station and Jubilee Hills Check Post Metro Station located on the Blue Line.
There is also the option of using auto, it takes 20 minutes to get to. If you're traveling on a bus, select Bus 119 and Bus 66G and 65G from the Nampally stop.
