Another story of the Jain temple:

In the second century BCE the 2nd century BCE, a portion part of the Kambojas of Central India joined the Great Tribal Movement in Central Asia.

A portion of the Kambojas appears to be the ones who gave their name to the city in the coastal region of southwest India. The Micro Jain village named Kamboj close to Nanded in Maharashtra was primarily composed of farmers.

Kumbhoj Devi is an ancient village that is frequented by Shakambari. Shakambari's Devi Shakambari Temple is located near Banashankari close to Badami.

The village was ruled by Brahmins with the surname of "Kulkarni" (now they migrated from the town and changed their names to "Kumbhojkar"), and Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj was a key member of the group that would consult the Brahmins and offer suggestions on critique and politics.

There is a mention of Rishi Kumbhoja, who found this reference to the reference in South Indian revisions of the Ramayana. It is believed that he lived along an island in the Godavari river. Godavari in the southwestern region of India in the Ramayana period.

Kamboja Maharshi came from the northwest and appears to have migrated to the Godavari River to the south from the Vindhya. The village is known due to its agricultural land which is where sugarcane farming is widespread.
